2008 Candlelight Ball Honoree
F. Kevin Tylus, Regional President, PNC Bank
The Boys & Girls Club of Trenton & Mercer County is delighted to honor F. Kevin Tylus, Regional President of PNC Bank, Central New Jersey, for his service to the community, and PNC Bank for its generous partnership with the Boys & Girls Club.
Mr. Tylus joined PNC Bank through a merger in 2007 with Yardville National Bank and continues longstanding traditions at both PNC and the former Yardville National Bank of helping youths in need through their outstanding support of the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton.
Active in the professional community, Kevin serves on the board of trustees for the New Jersey Bankers Association, the Great Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, and the Hamilton Township Business Partnership. Kevin is also an advisor to the Montgomery Township Economic Development Commission.
During his tenure on the Board of Directors and then as President of Yardville National Bank, Mr. Tylus volunteered for numerous community organizations supported by the bank. These included assisting two minor league baseball teams start corporate sponsorship programs to reach underprivileged youths. These roles launched the “Tickets for Kids” and "Corporate Cares" programs.
Last fall, Mr. Tylus was granted a Distinguished Alumnus award from The Hun School of Princeton, where he is a trustee. Also supportive of the arts, Kevin is a trustee of the Princeton Ballet School and the American Repertory Ballet Company.
Mr. Tylus earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration at Gettysburg College and a master’s degree in business administration and finance from La Salle College in Philadelphia. He has been a lecturer at the Wharton School of Business and La Salle University.
His work prior to banking included President of a division of CIGNA Corporation and a partner with the firm of Deloitte & Touche.
Kevin and his wife, Ginger, are the parents of four children. They live in Skillman, New Jersey.
