Day for Kids

The mission of Day for Kids is to build strong relationships between positive adults and kids by educating them on the importance of spending meaningful time together. Day for Kids supports this mission by engaging adults, families and kids via local community celebrations, special promotions, public awareness campaigns, educational resources and other opportunities to encourage positive, sustaining relationships.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America envisions a nationally-recognized day for kids creates both an extraordinary platform for youth, and establishes a lasting tradition to reinforce that all children need a positive and caring adult in their lives.
Day for Kids is celebrated nationally on the third Saturday in September. We at the Trenton Club are excited to build a far-reaching campaign to make Day for Kids (ADK) a staple of our community.
