Swing for Kids Golf Outing
The Boys & Girls Club will hold its Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 30, at the historic Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, New Jersey.
The day begins with continental breakfast and registration in the newly-constructed Springdale Club House. Golfers are in their carts at 9 a.m. for a shotgun start to a scramble format round of golf. An Awards Reception follows with buffet lunch and cocktails.
The 18-hole Springdale course features 6,380 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70.8 and it has a slope rating of 128 on bent grass. Designed by George Lambert, the Springdale golf course opened in 1895. The original course, founded in 1895 by alumni, faculty and undergrads, was a nine-hole track listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the nation.
