Become a Program Volunteer!
Program Volunteers make a tremendous difference in the lives of youth at the Boys & Girls Club. Program Volunteers support our day-to-day Club activities by helping our full-time staff in a variety of ways, including coaching, tutoring, and leading specific programs.
Here are some of the ways for volunteers to get involved:
- Tutor kids who need help with homework
- Work with kids on how to surf the Web safely
- Help coach a sports team
- Officiate a game
- Run an Activity Club such as chess, art, singing, or photography
- Be a guest speaker at a Career Explorers’ class
- Help lead a Career Club related to your profession
- Teach teens how to manage their first paychecks
- Mentor high school students on college applications and scholarships
- Become an SAT tutor
- Instruct teens on strength-training principles in our fitness center
